Everton vs Liverpool
The good news for Everton before Sunday’s Merseyside derby against Liverpool is that even if they lose, the Reds won’t be crowned Premier League champions at Goodison Park.
Man City did Everton a small favour on Wednesday night beating Arsenal 3-0.
That result means that wins for Liverpool against Everton and Crystal Palace will confirm Jurgen Klopp’s team as league winners for the first time in 30 years.
Liverpool may be without Mohamed Salah & Andy Robertson
There have been mixed messages about the health status of Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson in the build-up to Everton.
Alarm bells started ringing when Salah and Robertson both sat out a 6-0 friendly against Blackburn Rovers.
However, fears subsided when reports then filtered out of Anfield that the duo had competed in an 11 vs 11 game between the Liverpool squad.
Liverpool squad has no fitness worries so far ahead of first game back. There was an inter-squad game at Anfield yesterday, which involved Mo Salah and Andy Robertson after they had sat out Blackburn friendly as a precaution.

On Thursday, Jurgen Klopp gave the following update about his squad before Everton:
In the moment, nobody really is ruled out for Sunday, but we have to see.
A few trained more, a few trained less, most trained all [sessions], so that’s good news and in the end we will have a good team on the pitch, 100 per cent.
While Klopp hasn’t ruled out any specific players for the derby, Athletic reporter James Pearce has raised flags over Salah and Robertson.
The Liverpool based reporter has confirmed:
Klopp has said today that no-one has been ruled out of Sunday’s game yet but I understand Liverpool do have a few issues.
Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson are fitness concerns. James Milner on standby to play at left-back if Robertson doesn’t recover in time.
Who would you like to see start in the front three if Salah doesn’t feature?
