When will Liverpool beat Man City to win the 2019-20 Premier League?
Manchester City’s 5-0 victory against Burnley on Monday night has set back Liverpool’s likely coronation date as the 2019-20 Premier League champions.
If Liverpool beat Crystal Palace at Anfield on Wednesday night, and Man City fail to beat Chelsea on Thursday, then the Reds will win the league.
Alternatively, if Liverpool and Man City both win in midweek, Jurgen Klopp’s charges will be crowned champs if they beat Man City on July 2.

Liverpool fans may be the first to return to a live match
Working on the assumption that Liverpool will win their first title in 30 years, the Reds will be scheduled to play in the Community Shield before the 2020-21 campaign begins.
As confirmed in the Times on Tuesday, discussions are underway over allowing some fans to attend this year’s Community Shield:
Football’s authorities are exploring the possibility of using the Community Shield as a test event for the return of fans before the start of next season.
(The Community Shield) could be used to help plan how supporters can be allowed into stadiums under social-distancing restrictions.
The chance of the Community Shield taking place at all is only rated as 50-50, but it could be used to help plan how supporters can be allowed into stadiums under social-distancing restrictions, reports @martynziegler https://t.co/9dt5sCGBcA

Will there be a Community Shield in 2020?
While Liverpool fans now have their expectations raised of watching a live match in the next few months, it’s far from certain that the 2020 Community Shield will happen.
The Times rate the chance of the Community Shield being staged as 50:50.
Indeed, the broadsheet claims that Community Shield “is likely to be scrapped unless some supporters can attend.”
The big problem facing the showpiece match between the Premier League and FA Cup winners is scheduling.
Currently, there’s an international break scheduled for the start of September.
September 8 has been designated for UEFA Nations League matches and South American World Cup qualifiers.
Will the Community Shield be at Wembley?
If the match goes ahead, it’s unclear if the Community Shield will be played at Wembley. The Times report:
Although it is usually played at Wembley it could be played at any neutral stadium if that was deemed more useful for planning purposes and monitoring use of public transport and supporters entering and leaving the ground.
How could Liverpool fans get tickets for the Community Shield?
Considering all the ifs, buts and maybes threatening the Community Shield from even going ahead, it’s probably no surprise that the Times didn’t touch the subject of how fans could be picked to attend the games.
Will it be a lottery? Or based on fans’ attendance records? Or a blend of the two?
Nobody knows.
Which clubs are still in the 2019-20 FA Cup?
The draw for the FA Cup quarterfinals is:

Newcastle v Manchester City

The FA Cup final will be held on August 1.
