Everton’s Jordan Pickford has recently been discussing Liverpool, ahead of the upcoming Merseyside derby later this month.
Everton vs Liverpool
The Premier League season is finally set to get back underway in less than two weeks’ time.
The first set of ties takes place on June 17th with Manchester City, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Sheffield United all in action to complete their games in hand.
Two days later, the first full set of fixtures since the return gets underway on Friday.
There are a number of high-profile matches in this set of games, but perhaps the biggest takes place on Sunday the 21st of June when Liverpool travel to Everton.
Not only is it the Merseyside derby, but there could also be the added possibility of Liverpool clinching their first-ever Premier League title that day, should Man City lose to Arsenal on the 17th and Liverpool see off the Toffees.

Pickford on Liverpool
One man who will no doubt be extremely keen to prevent Liverpool from lifting the title against Everton is their No.1, Jordan Pickford.
Everton do not have the greatest record against their crosstown rivals, with the Toffees not actually beating the Reds in a competitive tie since 2010.
And last time the two sides faced off in the league, Everton were put to the sword by five goals to two with Marco Silva shown the exit door in the proceeding days.
Despite their dismal record against Liverpool though, Pickford is of the opinion that Everton have the ability within their squad to see off Jurgen Klopp’s outfit:
“We want to win every game we play and any sort of derby match is massive for the fans and for players.
“We want to show how good we can be and we have an opportunity to beat them. We know they are a good side, they are top of the league. We just want to do our best and try to beat them.
“We know we have the ability in the squad to beat them. We just want to do it for ourselves and our fans.”
