Harry Kane has recently moved to provide an update on when he will be ready to play for Tottenham once again.
Kane injured
Tottenham would endure a dismal start to the 2019/20 campaign, which eventually led to Mauricio Pochettino being shown the exit door in late November.
Jose Mourinho was the man tasked with replacing the Argentine and in his first few months on the job, the Portuguese tactician looked to have had a positive impact on the Lilywhites.
Spurs would pick up four wins in their first five league ties under Mourinho, a dramatic improvement on the results the north Londoners had been amassing under their former boss.
However, in 2020, Mourinho and Tottenham have had a much more difficult period, which has seen them crash out of both the FA Cup and Champions League.
One of the reasons Spurs’ form has dipped of this year could certainly be due to their injury troubles.
The most high-profile player Tottenham have lost to injury in 2020 is, of course, Harry Kane.
Kane picked up an injury vs Southampton on January 1st and has been confined to the sidelines ever since.

Kane ready to return
However, as mentioned above, Kane has recently provided a positive update on his return.
The Premier League is currently suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic with no official date yet set for a return of English football.
Although, a mid-June resumption does seem to be somewhat of an unofficial target.
But whenever the PL does eventually get back on our screens, Kane has insisted he should be ready to go from the first game:
“I’m pretty much as good as I can be.
“I was at a good stage before the lockdown. I was pretty much doing everything except from training with the team.
“Since the lockdown’s happened, I’ve continued doing sessions online with the team, a bit of specific work where I do my own stuff for the hamstring and things like that, but pretty much doing everything else the boys are doing.
“Then obviously the last week or so we’ve been able to go in and do one-on-one training with one member of staff on the pitch. It’s been nice to get out and start touching a ball again.
“Whenever the season does continue, whether it’s next month, or two months, three months, I should be ready to go from the first game.”
