The president of Kosovo’s Football Federation has recently claimed a number of clubs are interested in the services of Werder Bremen star, Milot Rashica.
Rashica’s Werder Bremen stint
Rashica made the move to Werder Bremen’s back in the summer of 2018.
Bremen signed Rashica from Dutch outfit Vitesse for a fee believed to be around £6.3m.
Since making the switch to Germany, the 23-year-old has made 64 appearances for Werder.
In those 64 ties, Rashica has scored 23 and assisted 11 across all competitions.
The 2019/20 campaign has been particularly impressive for the versatile winger.
In 24 outings across all competitions this season, Rashica has scored 10 and assisted five for the Bundesliga outfit.
Liverpool reportedly want Rashica
After an impressive 2019/20, the 23-year-old, who is contracted to Werder until 2022, looks to have attracted some interest from the Premier League.
The Mirror, reported back in March that Aston Villa and Liverpool were leading the race to sign the Werder Bremen standout.
However, as mentioned above, if Kosovo’s FF president is indeed speaking the truth, it looks to be Liverpool who are the more interested of the two parties.
Agim Amedi claimed that there are many requests for Rashica, but he knows that both Liverpool and RB Leipzig want him:
“There are many requests for him. I know that Liverpool in the Premier League want him, but also Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
“I am sure that he will be advised in the best way to make his decision.”

Whilst Liverpool may indeed have shown an interest in Rashica, a move for the winger seems somewhat unlikely due to the current pandemic. It was reported last month that the Reds had put all contract talks and recruitment plans on hold due to the ongoing uncertainty around the coronavirus.
