Juventus among 11 clubs trying to sign Raul Jimenez & Liverpool could sign Adama Traore for £60m

Juventus among 11 clubs trying to sign Raul Jimenez

In recent days, transfer rumours surrounding Wolves and Mexico striker Raul Jimenez have ballooned.

29-year-old Raul Jimenez is under contract at Wolves until 2023.

This season, Jimenez has scored 13 goals for Wolves in the Premier League, while contributing 6 assists.

Moreover, the El Tri international has scored 22 goals in 44 games in all competitions for Wolves this season.

Seven days ago, the Sunday Times claimed that Wolves could sell Jimenez if they received an offer too good to refuse.

The Sunday Times also listed Manchester United and Juventus as potential buyers.

Now, Italian daily Tuttosport have doubled-down on the claims that Juventus are trying to sign Jimenez from Wolves.

However, Tuttosport say the race to sign the Molineux striker is fierce. 11 clubs have reportedly contacted Wolves to enquire about Jimenez’s availability.

Italian readers are also told that Wolves are likely to sell Jimenez. Tuttosport claim:

Jimenez will almost certainly leave Wolverhampton at the end of the season, because too many teams are courting him and one will certainly win.

Tuttosport hang a 60 million euro price tag around Jimenez.

Liverpool could sign Adama Traore for £60m

The Sun on Sunday believe that Liverpool are interested in signing Wolves winger Adama Traore for 60 million pounds.

24-year-old Traore is under contract at Molineux until 2023.

It’s been a breakout year for the Spanish forward. In the Premier League, he’s chipped in with 7 assists and 4 goals.

However, the Sun tell their readers:

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants Wolves speed machine Adama Traore to join his champions-elect.

Klopp will keep his fingers crossed that the season is completed and he can add the threat of Traore to his attack options which include Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

But would Adama Traore get into the Liverpool XI?

Aside from Liverpool’s attacking trio, Klopp signed Japanese international Takumi Minamino back in January.

While Traore can also fill-in in midfield, Liverpool are well-stocked in that position also. Especially since Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s return from injury in recent months.

So would Traore be keen on swapping life as a regular Premier League and Europa League starter at Wolves to join Liverpool for a possible season spent largely on the bench?
